We are hosting the first Health & Wellness Fair in Monument! There will be over 30 vendors from varying backgrounds. We will have Chiropractors, Nutritionists, IV Therapy, Pediatricians, Medicare providers, inpatient and outpatient psych hospitals, Counselors, Gyms, Restaurants, and more! This is a FREE event to the public. You do need to have an Eventbrite ticket which you can get at the door.

Jackson Creek Senior Living, a WellAge Senior Living-managed retirement community, has named Lynne Sacatelli, RN, to the role of Health & Wellness Director, overseeing clinical care for residents receiving the community’s assisted living and memory support services.

Sacatelli has worked with older adults for years and brings a wealth of experience in intensive care, brain injuries, and emergency medicine, specializing in wound care and certified in infection prevention. With eight years as an assistant director of nursing in skilled nursing facilities, Sacatelli’s leadership aligns with Jackson Creek’s commitment to exceptional resident care.

Come join the Palmer Lake Historical Society as we celebrate the new year with our annual Potluck and Membership meeting.

Doors open at 6:00 PM, program starts at 6:30 PM. We supply the ham and rolls, please bring a dish to share. FREE and open to the public.

About the Palmer Lake Historical Society

Mission: The mission of the Palmer Lake Historical Society (PLHS) is to preserve, protect, promote, and provide access to historical data, artifacts and other items of significance relating to the Palmer Divide area and make resources available to the public primarily through the Lucretia Vaile Museum and annual programming.

Goals: The primary goals and objectives of the Palmer Lake Historical Society are to assemble, preserve, display (as feasible), and interpret historical objects and printed material pertaining to the Palmer Divide area that includes Palmer Lake, Monument, School District 38, the United States Air Force Academy, and as far east as Table Rock.

Please consider joining the Palmer Lake Historical Society. Various levels of participation available including family and senior memberships. All ages welcome. Newcomers to the area are welcome!
