Caring Citizens Clean-Up
April 9 Tuesday from 1 to 4 pm
Participants are volunteering and are 100% responsible for their own safety.

YOU MUST WATCH THE SAFETY VIDEO PRIOR TO PICK UP
Modot Adopt-A-Highway Safety- You Tube
 
Meet at Entrance Ramp area by Hwy 76 for instructions.
Carpool to areas and drivers park on shoulder with Flashers ON
Target Area is East and West side of Hwy 465
from Hwy 76 north to Hwy 248.
Participants are to wear Bright Colored Clothing, Protective Footwear,
Gloves and bring Pick up Tool.
 
Yellow Trash Bags and some Vest are provided by MODOT.
RECOMMEND WALKING TOWARD ONCOMING TRAFFIC.
Filled bags will be collected by  MODOT for disposal.
Participants need to use Caution parking on Hwy 465.

No Boys Allowed Event in Downtown Monument

No Boys Allowed is happening on Thursday, April 18 from 5-8 p.m. (snow date, April 25).  This much anticipated event is a ticketed event ($10 cash or check available at Covered Treasures Bookstore, Corina's Salon and Boutique, Bella Decor and Design, and The Love Shop). There are just 250 tickets so get yours early if you wish to join in the fun!!!  Participating stores will have appetizers, a small gift for each ticketed participant, a coupon for merchandise and each person who completes the tour, will be entered into a drawing for a gift certificate.  

Covered Treasures Bookstore is hosting three authors for the evening.  Jean Walton and Jaime Obertubbesing will sign their title Everyday Girl Adventures and Donna Carlson will sign her title Crazy as Usual.  The store will be full of joy and laughter this evening.
