Special Kids Special Families’ Bowl-A-Rama is an annual tradition that many look forward to every year! The BOWL FOR THE GREEN St. Patrick’s Day Bowl-A-Rama takes place on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 at King Pin Lanes from 2-4pm.
During this annual event, teams don their favorite St. Patrick’s Day outfits, wear their green and bowl to support a good cause helping raise funds for programs for individuals with disabilities and their families.
We will hold a DRAWING for some great prizes offered by area businesses. Throughout the event, secret judges will be voting on who has the most team spirit, biggest smile, best team helpers, best costume and MORE – handing out contest prizes! Included in admission is a meal voucher that can be used in the bowling alley’s concession area and a buy one get one free drawing ticket coupon!
Entry includes $5 meal voucher to be used at the concession area (or liquor), buy one get one free drawing coupon, shoe rental, 2 games of bowling & participation in drawing & contest prizes.
The second “Stars of Tomorrow” talent show is a joint effort of Monument Hill Kiwanis Club and Lewis-Palmer School District 38. It will provide a showcase for students who have the performing arts talents they hone on a regular basis, reviewed by professional judges. Contestants will gain practical experience, receive valuable feedback on individual performance and compete for $5.250 in cash prizes.
Individuals and groups may participate in Song & Dance, Drama, Vocal, Instrumental, A Cappella group, Musical Theater, Jazz and both Classical and Modern music disciplines. The intent is to cast a “wide net” for a variety of participants, however, actual performance is required (for example, no air guitars or lip syncing).
