It will provide a showcase for students who have the performing arts talents they hone on a regular basis, reviewed by professional judges. Contestants will gain practical experience, receive valuable feedback on individual performance and compete for $5.250 in cash prizes. Individuals and groups may participate in Song & Dance, Drama, Vocal, Instrumental, A Cappella group, Musical Theater, Jazz and both Classical and Modern music disciplines. The intent is to cast a “wide net” for a variety of participants, however, actual performance is required (for example, no air guitars or lip syncing).
