#KRDO Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo targeted in â€˜c (04/29/20)
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- KRDO learned Friday that Parkview Medical Center has investigators looking into a "cyber-incident" that happened earlier this week.

A statement from the hospital said an incident on Tuesday resulted in an outage of a number of the hospital's IT systems. PMC immediately alerted third-party forensic experts to investigate and mitigation is underway.

COLORADO SPRINGS Zoom has exploded in popularity as people turn to video calling software amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

So many people are finding Zoom to be an easy way to stay connected in this time of social distancing, school closures, and work-from-home routines.

With all the extra attention, Zoom is now facing a huge privacy and security backlash as security experts warn that Zoom default settings aren't secure enough.

FOX21 News has been using the app for daily news meetings. Children and pets can even join but not everyone is using the necessary security.
