About Us

Meet Al and Candace Bolz. Yes, the two of them met over food! Twenty years ago, Al was working in a kitchen and Candace was waiting tables. At the time, both would agree Candace was the bigger troublemaker. However, as both have evolved Candace found social work and Chef Al now takes the lead in getting into more MISCHEF. There have been many crazy and life changing adventures for this duo. When you ask them about their favorites memories they include traveling the world together, adopting their 3 dogs, and feeding hungry people!

If you know them then you probably have had the experience of laughing with them, you may have memories of being a part of their journey as they grew, or you probably shared a conversation about the importance of finding ways to spread a little joy in a sometimes unkind world. If you have not yet met them then you should know; the table is always set and you will always be welcome to share a meal, a smile, or a story with them. Their goal is to never have anyone walk away from them feeling hungry for food or connection. You should also know Chef Al always keeps Candace laughing and sometimes it may look like they are screwing around more than they are working! But this how they have made it side by side for twenty years.
