About Us

Double J Pet Ranch is a Colorado dog boarding facility owned and operated by Shannon and Jason Moler. The Double J offers overnight boarding, daycare, and grooming services. The Ranch is recognized for its immaculate large state of the art indoor facility, it's indoor/outdoor daycare, and its multiple acres + outdoor play areas which allow it's guests to enjoy "ACRES OF FUN" during their stay. Since the early ’90s, Jason has trained his personal sporting dogs and has worked with professional trainers. With the knowledge gained, Jason used it to become an upland bird guide in central Texas for over 10 years. Jason has a love of watching his dogs perform, and believes that working dogs make better hunters when they are treated as pets. This belief led to a philosophy suited to run a boarding facility his customers can trust.
Shannon is also an avid pet lover and is an incredibly compassionate woman who unconditionally loves all dogs.  She’s volunteered for over 10 years dog sitting and fostering for neighbors,  friends, and rescues. 

Jason and Shannon have been married for 20 years, moving their family from Texas to Colorado to ensure that their girls grow up with the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while nurturing their natural love of animals.
