Downtown Monument comes alive with its annual Christmas event on the first Saturday in December. This year, Small Town Christmas is on December 2, from 10-4. Covered Treasures Bookstore, 105 Second Street, is hosting two children's authors to this special day. Stop by the store from 11-2 to meet authors Margi Evans and Susan Permut. Margi has many horse related titles including trail guides to our state. She, also, has children's books. Susan has her first title,, The Christmas Camel.

Jason Dennon will sign his autobiography, 8 Days Till Sunrise, and Frankie Morelli will sign his cookbook, The Mobb Diet. Frankie will have aprons, hats, and other accessories to compliment his cookbook. We look forward to a very lively afternoon.
