Mark Stevens will be at Covered Treasures Bookstore for August's Art Hop.  The bookstore is one of the many participants of the monthly Art Hop (months of May-September).  Mark Stevens is from the SW part of the state and is a best selling author of his mystery series set in Colorado.  He has written The Fireballer, a  novel about baseball, the great American pastime.  Art Hop is Thursday, August 17, from 5-8 p.m.  We look forward to a fun evening with Mark and our customers.

Museum "Docent Day" at the Lucretia Vaile Museum presented by the Palmer Lake Historical Society
Come learn about the history of the Palmer Divide on Saturday, August 26, from 10:00 - 2:00. 
Docents will be at the Museum to tell the history of the area and will be in costume.

Lucretia Vaile Museum is located below the Palmer Lake Library next to the Village Green. Pack a picnic and spend the afternoon
