Join Us for Breakfast!

Networking Breakfasts take place the first and third Thursday of every month in the Chamber of Commerce Community Room from 7:30-9:00 AM. Listen to 10-minute informative talks from two fellow members. Meet and mingle with other business people over a tasty breakfast provided by the speakers. Everyone gets 30 seconds to introduce themselves and tell what's up in their business.

Annual membership is $40 and Chamber membership is required.

You must register in advance to attend, walk-ins are not allowed. If you are bringing a guest, they too must register.

The large crowd includes railroad dignitaries, political figures, track workers, and curious onlookers. The Central Pacific’s Jupiter and the Union Pacific’s Engine No. 119 have pulled up, stopping only inches apart. The Reverend John Todd officiates as the last rail is laid and the Golden Spike is driven; the band strikes up and champagne flows.

WINNER OF THE 2019 PEAK ARTS PRIZE - Bliss Studio & Gallery is combining a community public sculpture project, Forging Human Connections & Embracing Empathy, with the second annual, Bliss 2019 Iron Pour / https://www.peakartsprize.org/results/

WORKSHOPS: Every Saturday leading up to the Iron Pour Date! Participants, carve a Sand Tile & participate in Bliss Iron Pour 2019! 

At the workshop, participants will receive a 6” square sand tile, guided instructions while carving their tile, and a ticket to the Big Iron Pour Event on September 28, 2019! The sand tile is the mold that we will pour red-hot-molten-iron into at the Big Pour Event in September.  Participants in our workshops will also receive a free small medallion tile to carve which gets donated back to the studio and entered into the community public sculpture: Forging Genuine Human Connections & Embracing Empathy. The 6” tile is theirs to keep!

At the Big Iron Pour Event there will be tile carving workshops, music, artistic displays and demonstrations, complimentary pizza and sodas, and beginning at sunset participants will watch as we pour red-hot-molten-iron into their tile molds.  This is a day for bringing people together through the arts and celebrating our wonderful community! 

Workshops are held at Bliss Studio & Gallery located at 243 Washington St. in Historic Downtown Monument, Colorado. They are scheduled every Saturday from 11am - 1pm. July 6th-September 28th. Registration is available at:

Enjoy summer evenings under the big screen. This summer the Town of Monument and U.S. Taekwondo Center will present outdoor movie nights. These are free to the public and will take place in Jackson Creek at the Tri-Lakes YMCA. Everyone is invited to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy a movie under the stars.
Activities begin around 7 and will include demonstrations by U.S. Taekwondo Center, board breaking & a bounce house!
Movies will begin at dark (approx 8:00). Please bring your family and friends, but leave your pets at home.

From humble beginnings under an outdoor pavilion at The Church at Woodmoor, to the music festival of the season (now hosted in the larger space of the Limbach Park in downtown Monument), the 20th annual Pickin’ on the Divide Bluegrass Festival returns on August 17.

Pickin’ on the Divide will bring music, delicious food, an all day beer garden, vendors, a kids playground and more – all in a family friendly venue.

For this event, an amazing lineup of bluegrass and country flavor bands will be taking the center stage from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Kayak Basic Skills Clinic
Let's go kayaking! Bring your own boat, paddle and pfd (life jacket) and meet in the morning at Monument Lake where we will practice our kayaking skills and learn some new ones. Scott Hilliard has been teaching kayaking for thirty years and will be conducting this FREE two hour clinic. WORKSHOPS: Every Saturday leading up to the Iron Pour Date! Participants, carve a Sand Tile & participate in Bliss Iron Pour 2019! 

At the workshop , participants will receive a 6” square sand tile, guided instructions while carving their tile, and a ticket to the Big Iron Pour Event on September 28, 2019! The sand tile is the mold that we will pour red-hot-molten-iron into at the Big Pour Event in September.  Participants in our workshops will also receive a free small medallion tile to carve which gets donated back to the studio and entered into the community public sculpture: Forging Genuine Human Connections & Embracing Empathy. The 6” tile is theirs to keep!

At the Big Iron Pour Event there will be tile carving workshops, music, artistic displays and demonstrations, complimentary pizza and sodas, and beginning at sunset participants will watch as we pour red-hot-molten-iron into their tile molds.  This is a day for bringing people together through the arts and celebrating our wonderful community! 

Workshops are held at Bliss Studio & Gallery located at 243 Washington St. in Historic Downtown Monument, Colorado. They are scheduled every Saturday from 11am - 1pm. July 6th-September 28th. Registration is available at:
