SKSF's 16th Annual Bowl for the Green Bowl-A-Rama

Special Kids Special Families will hold its 16th annual Bowl for the Green Bowl-A-Rama fundraiser at King Pin Lanes on 3410 N Academy Blvd on Saturday, March 15th from 2:00-4:30pm. Because it’s St. Patrick’s Day themed, we encourage bowlers to don their Irish green.  The Colorado Springs community, SKSF clients, staff, and local businesses look forward to this event every year.  All proceeds will help support SKSF programs for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.  Contest and drawing prizes will be awarded throughout the event. Palmer Lake Historical Society presents "An Evening with General William Jackson Palmer"

Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm (doors open at 6:30).

The Palmer Lake Historical Society will be hosting General William Jackson Palmer portrayed by Dave Harmon. General Palmer will share stories about his Quaker upbringing, the civil war and his contributions to the expansion of transportation in the American West during the late nineteenth century.    
   
General Palmer is also well known for his philanthropy, which included the founding of the Colorado College, along with other institutions and parks for the public benefit. Please bring a friend and stay afterwards for light refreshments and socializing. Program is FREE and open to the public. All ages welcome.
   
The Palmer Lake Historical Society is an educational 501(c)(3)  nonprofit organization serving the Palmer Divide area since 1956. We welcome newcomers to the area.  In case of inclement weather we follow School District 38 weather closures.
