Tour de VCOS Summer Mixer
You've no doubt passed by Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort multiple times, and now's your chance to see what this unique historic lodge is all about. Located less than a mile from Garden of the Gods, come see why it has been awarded Bronze 3 years in a row for Best Hotel in the Springs by the Colorado Springs Independent.
Your taste buds will thank you when you see the food lineup we have in store. Buffalo Gals Catering has set an amazing heavy appetizer menu for you, including Santa Fe Veggie Platter, Cannellini & Gigande Bean Hummus, Crisp Apple Crostini, Bacon Wrapped Dates, a French Fry Bar, Santa Maria Beef Sirloin Hot Cocktail Sandwiches and desserts to tame your sweet tooth. Cold beverages provided by MillerCoors and Swire Coca-Cola.
We will be holding a tricycle race and the winner is going to get an amazing prize for winning that yellow jersey. Mona Lisa Gift Cards will also be available as a prize drawing.
For those who ride a bike to the event, we will have a special drawing to win another outstanding prize. We encourage anyone who would like to ride their own bike or a PikeRide bicycle, to please do so. This will help alleviate any parking issues as space will be somewhat limited. Carpooling is also encouraged. The closest PikeRide is located at Bancroft Park, a less than 2-mile, 12-minute ride. Roger Maestas Field is the perfect place to park, hop on your bike and take a 2-minute ride to Buffalo Lodge.
Fully vaccinated guests do not have to wear a mask. Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated guests, please wear a mask and practice proper social distancing guidelines. If CDC guidelines are adjusted, we will follow the new guidelines and promptly communicate them to you.
Don't put the brakes on this sure-to-be-fun event. We look forward to seeing you soon!
