Event Name:
Monthly Education Series - Are you Making Money? Understanding Your Business Financials

Workshop Introduction: Understanding Financial Statements

Financial statements tell the story of your business—but only if you know how to read them.

In this workshop, we’ll break down the three core financial reports every business owner needs to understand: the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Statement. You’ll learn what each statement is really telling you, how they work together, and why profit on paper doesn’t always mean cash in the bank.

We’ll go beyond definitions and focus on how to read, interpret, and analyze these reports so you can uncover what’s driving your company’s performance. More importantly, you’ll learn how to use this information to understand your business dynamics, make better decisions, and be more strategic about pricing, spending, growth, and long-term sustainability.

We’ll also take a look at how AI is being used in Finance. The industry is embracing AI as a tool for innovation and efficiency with much success, but there are risks as well.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have greater confidence in your numbers—and a clearer understanding of how to run your business with intention, not just intuition.

This is an in-person class.
