Brett works for the Pikes Peak Library District & will share information about researching through the Special Collections collected & housed in the 1905 Carnegie building adjacent to Penrose Library. We will learn about the Special Collections & how to use the library for special research projects. Are you interested in researching your genealogy but aren't sure where to start? In this interactive presentation you will become knowledgeable of what to do when a stroke is happening, how to prevent it and what can be done for treatment. The presentation will be led by Katja Hendrickson, Stroke Program Coordinator. Katja was born and raised in Germany. She has been a nurse for 28 years in neuroscience and has been working with stroke patients since 2005. She has a master's in Nursing from Walden University with a focus on stroke and neuroscience.
