Covered Treasures Bookstore, 105 Second Street, Monument, 719-481-2665 is hosting a fun event for the Art Hop on August 19th from 5-8. A representative from the Boulder County Nature Association will be here to discuss the books Butterflies of the Colorado Front Range and Dragonflies of the Colorado Front Range. Tammi Hartung, owner of the Desert Canyon Organic Farm in Canon City, will be here signing her books, The Wildlife-Friendly Vegetable Gardener, Cattail Moonshine & Milkweed Medicine: The Curious Stories of 43 Amazing North American Native Plants, and Homegrown Herbs: A Complete Guide to Growing ,Using, and Enjoying More Than a 100 Herbs. Tammi will be at the store from 5-7. We look forward to an informative evening.
