Description:



Run4Hope 5K for Schools is a fun, community-wide event that raises money and awareness for suicide prevention programs in local area high schools. With suicides at alarming levels, we want to punch a hole in the darkness and provide HOPE for everyone through Sources of Strengtha widely-accepted, peer-based school program. Join us for this fun and exciting race and be a part of the solution!

We have both a Family Color Fun Run and a Competitive 5K with chip timing!

Saturday, July 20
6:30am Parking, Race Check-In and late registration
7:30am Parking lot closed, late registration until 7:45am
7:45am Registration closed, pre-race warmups
8:00am Course Marshall, Olympian Frank Shorter and Race Start!
8:05am Competitive, chip-timed 5K starts!
8:10am Family Color Fun Run starts!
9:00am Awards Ceremony
9:30am Kids Fun Run (ages 10 and under)
 
Course info: Out and back 5K loop through the Woodmoor neighborhood of Monument, CO
 
Arrival info: Arrive between 6:30-7:30am to The Ascent Church parking lot
1750 Deer Creek Rd

Parking: Parking is available in the Ascent Church parking lot until 7:30am. Additional parking in field across the street and at Lewis-Palmer Middle School next to Ascent.
 
Waivers and ID: Sign the provided waiver and bring ID to packet pickup on either Friday, July 19 or the morning of the race.
 
What to bring: A positive attitude, a smile, a competitive spirit, and money for food trucks!
 
What to wear: It will be mid-summer in Colorado on July 20, so dress accordingly. And don't forget your race bib!
