Description: Centering Prayer is a method of prayer within the Christian contemplative prayer tradition. This introductory workshop offers participants the basics of the centering prayer practice. The day includes experiences of centering prayer and presentations on the four fundamental guidelines for beginning a daily practice of centering prayer.
Please bring your own lunch, as lunch is not provided.

Sister Ana Cloughly, OSB earned a BA in Religion from Colorado College. She is a graduate of Benet Hill’s Benedictine Spiritual Formation Program and has been a spiritual director for 14 years. Her dedication to the centering prayer practice led her to become a Servant Leader with Contemplative Outreach and serve as contact person in southern Colorado. As the Director of Contemplative Vision and Spirituality Ministry, she facilitates classes, retreats and workshops on prayer practices, mystics and Benedictine spirituality as it connects to the world.
