Event Description

The Makers Showcase is a guest-friendly community event where members, students, mentors, and makers share what they’ve been working on—projects, prototypes, experiments, and works-in-progress. It’s a chance to see ideas come to life, learn from others, and get inspired by the creativity happening across the Monumental Impact community.

What to expect:

  • Casual conversations and introductions

  • Sharing what you’re building or interested in (optional)

  • Learning about upcoming events, services, and programs

  • Meeting members, volunteers, and community partners

No experience is required, and there’s no pressure to pitch or present—just come as you are.

Guests are welcome.

This event is about sharing and celebrating making, not perfection. You’ll see a wide range of projects at different stages, from early concepts to finished builds, and have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with the people behind them.

What to expect:

  • Project demos, displays, and informal show-and-tell
  • Conversations with makers about how and why they built their projects
  • Inspiration for future projects and programs
  • A welcoming environment for guests and first-time visitors

Whether you’re actively building, thinking about joining, or just curious about what’s possible in a makerspace, the Makers Showcase is a great way to experience the community.

Guests are welcome.
