What Makes Playing & Coaching at the Air Force Academy so Special & the Purpose Behind it All, featuring Mike Thiessen, Offensive Coordinator, ASAFA
Mike, in his 19th season as an Assistant Coach at USAFA, is the longest-tenured offensive coordinator in the nation. Recognized as a Broyles Award candidate in 2021, a two-sport star & Air Force Athletics Hall of Fame inductee, Thiessen has also been instrumental in developing record-setting receivers and bowl MVP quarterbacks.
Checkered Table Talks is a speaker series in Monument where community & curiosity come together in an indoor picnic-style setting! Ticket sales support the Tri-Lakes Women's Club's community grant program.
What to Bring: your own picnic or snacks, cups, plates, utensils & napkins. Wine & Beer allowed - no hard liquor. Tables, chairs & checkered tablecloths are provided.
Doors open: 5:00 pm. Space is limited!
