Checkered Table Talks; a monthly speaker series by Tri-Lakes Women’s Club
Date: Tuesday, April 8
Time: Doors Open @ 5PM, Speaker from 5:30 - 6:30
Location: Woodmoor Barn, 1691 Woodmoor Dr
Tickets: $10 (Bring your own picnic lunch, beer/wine, too).
Speaker: "WHAT MAKES PLAYING & COACHING AT THE AIR FORCE ACADEMY
SO SPECIAL & THE PURPOSE BEHIND IT ALL”. Mike Thiessen, in his 19th season as an Assistant Coach at USAFA, is the longest-tenured offensive coordinator in the nation. Recognized as a Broyles Award candidate in 2021, a two-sport star & Air Force Athletics Hall of Fame inductee, Thiessen has also been instrumental in developing record-setting receivers and bowl MVP quarterbacks.
