Covered Treasures Bookstore, 105 Second Street, Monument is hosting three local poets to celebrate National Poetry Month on Saturday, April 5, from 1-3.
Michael Johnson is a transplant from Texas, Grace Kelley is from Palmer Lake, and Kathryn Winograd is from Lakewood but spends many months down off Phantom Canyon Road. These talented poets will read from their collections, discuss their writing practices and answer any questions.
We will host a fun activity as well. Please mark your calendars to come to the store to support your local poets and to celebrate National Poetry Day.
