Looking for something fun and educational for your children to engage in during Winter Break? Science, Technology, Engineering and Math come alive in a fabulous setting at the Western Museum of Mining and Industry (WMMI) for two sessions Tuesday, December 19 and Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Full and half-day sessions are available. Half-day sessions run from 9:00 am to noon and 12:30 to 3:30pm. Students will experience unique STEAM-based experiments and activities to stimulate their imaginations and take home theme-based crafts. The curriculum is designed for 3rd through 5th grades and includes exploring Mining & Industry, Geology, Chemistry and Electricity. Activities vary by session. The cost is $30 for a half day and $50 for all day. Member and multiple siblings' discounts are available.
