Here at Monument Occupational Medicine, our Workers Compensation medical team has significant experience responding to work injuries and delivering leading-class treatment. We understand the challenges work teams face in managing injuries and reducing recovery timeframes and provide a comprehensive service designed to safeguard employees and keep teams at their most productive. Our team is led by Dr. Anjmun Sharma and also includes Dr. Pia Shalin.
Dr. Sharma has been a licensed physician in the state of Colorado for over a decade. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from ROSS University and has an extensive background in surgical training. He completed his residency in family practice from Grant Medical Center in Ohio and moved to Colorado in 2007. Dr. Sharma is Board Certified in family practice and has extensive experience in Occupational Medicine
Dr. Schalin graduated from the University of Goteborg, in Sweden. She completed internship & residency in Family Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida in 1987 and has worked as a board-certified family physician since then.Dr. Schalin has a lifelong interest in sports & healthy lifestyle, including how to best heal from various injuries. She has a Level II Workers Comp Certification and has enjoyed helping injured workers recover since 2006.
Dr. Schalin has personal experience over a lifetime with jazz ballet, yoga, playing squash & badminton, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, taekwondo, skiing, hiking, biking, swimming, Cross Fit and now doing various exercise classes.
Dr. Schalin enjoys working at Monument Occupational Medicine & continuing to serve injured workers.
